“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. (2 Timothy 2:15)
Beginning with The School of the Bible, Clarksville offers a broad overview of the Scriptures intended for people of all ages and spiritual maturity.
This introductory course of study will help you to be grounded in the Scriptures. I highly recommend this course of study to anyone wanting to know more about their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The curriculum is challenging, which is an indication of growth in the spiritual life of a child of God. The School of the Bible helped me to become a well-rounded Christian by taking what I learned and applying in my own life. It connected the God of the Bible to the “me in this world” by increasing my faith.
The degree programs at Clarksville give the individual the needed tools to enter the ministry. Deeper thought and more challenging curriculum make the degree programs even more valuable in these “last days”. They helped prepare me for the ministry which the Lord God has placed me in. Learning how to speak, as well as what to speak about, is a principle that keeps the Christian worker “rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught…” (Colossians 2:7). From leading someone to Christ, to preaching from the pulpit, Clarksville prepared me to be able to help others to know Jesus more intimately.
Clarksville Theological Seminary is a great help to anyone looking to enter the ministry. As a personal testimony, Clarksville will help prepare the average Christian to be ready for the call of God, whenever it may come. I was not called to be a preacher or a pastor when I started my studies. However, I have noticed that the more equipped I became, the more God used me. My admonition to anyone that wants to be used by God would be for you to “study” for the purpose “to shew thyself approved unto God”. Like Paul said in Philippians 3:10 “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”
