The current collegiate undergraduate curriculum models can sometimes seem a daunting and never-ending task to complete. Traditionally, an undergraduate bachelor’s degree includes taking 128 credit hours through 48 unique courses.
At Clarksville we have separated the associate curriculum from the bachelor’s to assist with this overwhelming feeling of endless academia. Clarksville students have 24 classes (64 credit hours) to complete in the associate degree program and 24 classes (64 credit hours) to complete in the bachelor’s degree program.
Associate Degree Curriculums
Clarksville’s Associate degrees introduce students to the foundational studies of the Word of God and they incorporate a specific number of liberal arts courses, helping our students to be well-rounded in their academic studies. Associate degree programs offered at Clarksville are the Associate of Theology and the Associate of Religious Education.
Bachelor of Theology Curriculum Biblical Studies Concentration
The Biblical Studies concentration prepares men and women who desire to influence the world for the Lord Jesus Christ through acquiring fundamental knowledge of the Word of God, of Christian doctrines and history, of various practical areas of Christian ministries, and of methods for further biblical and theological studies.
Bachelor of Religious Education Elementary Education Concentration
The Elementary Education concentration offers a wealth of knowledge that will equip and prepare our future teachers to be leaders and mentors of the youngest of students.
Bachelor of Theology Curriculum Global Missions & Intercultural Studies Concentration
The Global Missions & Intercultural Studies concentration prepares students to minister cross-culturally. It equips students with essential biblical and theological knowledge and skills as well as the missiological tools and experience needed to communicate the gospel and make disciples to the uttermost parts of the world.
Bachelor of Religious Education Secondary Education Concentration
The Secondary Education concentration focuses on general high school education, and narrows into the best methods for teaching within the student’s chosen field of study.
Bachelor of Theology Curriculum Pastoral Ministries Concentration
The Pastoral Ministries concentration prepares God-called men in the knowledge and skills central to the work of pastors through classes in pastoral ministry, sermon preparation, discipleship, counseling, leadership and mentoring, and Bible exposition.
Bachelor of Religious Education
Clarksville’s Bachelor of Religious Education degree prepares aspiring Christian educators with a strong academic and biblical education. This degree pathway is tailored for students seeking to lead in the development and instruction of students in a Christian classroom, on a College Campus, and in the local church.
